-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4×4 or 5×5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc’ blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?

Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

-What equipment do you use?

It’s nearly 3am in Australia and I just crocheted my first pumpkin sitting up in bed lol. I’ve made them using my Addi circular knitting machine but never crocheted…it was so fun! I used a muted orange and dark brown stem. Thank you!

So disappointed. I was under the impression I could make this any size I wanted. I double stranded and made a chain of 41. Finally got twice the length and sewed up the sides and after weaving around the first open end and pulling it tight, is no way to close that hole. It’s just too big. There’s a hole way too big to attempt to sew.

I guess I’m going to take the weave part out and turn the rest into a pillow cover if I can find an insert in just this size.

Fantastic tutorial but making a large pumpkin is out of the question!

This was such fun to do! But I’m noticing once it’s time to pull the needle to the opposite side, it’s not completely round like yours, one side would be a little squarre-ish. Should I stuff them more? Or is there a different reason for it?
